Pole Position and Winning Pace at Jack’s Racing Day 2025
The weekend began with a notable performance in qualifying, where a commanding pole position was secured within the class despite encountering traffic and a minor mistake. Strategically, the car returned to the pits well before the conclusion of the session to preserve tires, unlike the rest of the field. This pace translated directly into Race 1, with the car maintaining the lead from the start until the scheduled driver swap. However, complications during the pitstop hindered the momentum, and teammate Eddie Van Dam was unable to retake the lead following the transition.
Race 2 presented a different set of challenges, beginning with a difficult start that forced a recovery drive through the field. The car also contended with a power deficit caused by overheating issues that were outside of the team's control. Despite these technical setbacks and a hard-fought battle for position, a full course yellow was deployed just before a final pass could be completed. While the team faced further difficulty reclaiming track position after the final driver change, the weekend concluded with an overall podium finish - a strong result achieved against a field of technically faster cars.
“It was amazing to be surrounded by so many fans; signing autographs is a surreal experience, but it felt even more rewarding after a weekend where we led from pole and maximized our potential on track. Cheers to everyone who came by - sharing that energy after after such a rollercoaster weekend made the result feel truly earned.” - Miles Wragg
